Final Project: Kenmore Home Laundry Ads

I had a blast with this project. I love making ads and I thought this one was something we can all relate to-laundry mats are creepy. I learned so much in this class. I learned how to use the camera but also how to tell a story. Thanks Professor Slade.

9/11 Portraits

Robert Vera was standing on his roof in New York City watching the second tower get hit. He was there. He was in the 8th grade. We couldn't go to New York and shoot him on his roof, but his eyes tell the story. Because of that morning 10 years ago, Rob has decided to go into law and politics. His entire life has changed.

Scavenger Hunt (Assignment #1)

I learned a lot! I messed around a lot with the focus (even though it was on automatic). I loved learning Lightroom. I'm pretty familiar with Photoshop and other Adobe stuff, so it was pretty easy to mess around with and I learned how amazing a picture can look after I make changes to it. But I also learned that it's not as fun just taking pictures for pictures sake. It's more fun for me to take pictures for a purpose. The reason I took the picture of our window is because it means a lot to me. It is where I see my wife as I leave for school and I sometimes see her up there cooking when I get home.
